The food was very very good. Don't be fooled by the building or decore. The effort goes into the food. Highly recommend dumplings spring rolls sizzling pepper chicken and fried duck in plum sauce.

Unfortunately this place was a complete disappointment. 3 yum Cha entree plates and a bottle of water was over $50. I didn't eat the prawn cutlets because they were terrible and when the waitress asked me why I didn't like it, she opened the cutlet that I had bitten into and ate it herself to prove to me that there was nothing wrong with it! Never in my life has this happened before. They refused to reduce my bill for the item I didn't like. Chicken dim sims and duck pancake were quite good but the price and service make this place one to avoid in future.

DO NOT EAT HERE - I had the yum Cha here & it was inedible - there are plenty more edible options available so please eat elsewhere - everything was taken from freezer & microwaved im sure - it was awful, took ages to serve me, then was poor quality - never again...........

First time to eat here and it was excellent value. The banquet was yummy, filling and well enjoyed by all of us. The desserts were also very much enjoyed. My only criticism would be that the food wasn't brought on warmed plates allowing the food to get cold faster.

I ate lunch at the New Tai Yuen Restaurant on Dixon Street in Sidney, Australia on 3/3/2013.  It was my first time there.  In fact, it was my first day ever in NSW.  I had good food and good service.
